Terms of Service

By creating an account, booking a session, or applying to become a trainer on Mevien (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Mevien (“Mevien”, “we”) operates the Service described in our Imprint.

Mevien connects members with independent, certified personal trainers for live video coaching sessions. Mevien is a booking and communications platform; trainers who offer sessions through Mevien are independent professionals, not Mevien employees, unless stated otherwise.

Session prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and include any taxes required by law. Payment is collected at the time of booking through our payment processor.

You may reschedule or cancel a session up to 8 before its start time for a full refund or credit. Cancellations made after that window, or no-shows, are none refundable. If a trainer cancels or fails to join, you will receive a full refund or a free rebooking.

Trainers must hold a current, verifiable certification from a recognized body and agree to keep their credentials up to date. Mevien reviews submitted certifications but does not guarantee a trainer's competence for every exercise or medical circumstance. Trainers agree to conduct sessions professionally and to hold any insurance required in their jurisdiction.

Exercise carries inherent risk. Mevien and its trainers do not provide medical advice. Consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you have a pre-existing health condition, injury, or are pregnant. You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and disclosing relevant health information to your trainer. You assume all risk of injury arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to provide accurate account and booking information, to use a stable internet connection and appropriate space/equipment for your session, and not to record, resell, or redistribute session content without the other party's consent.

The Mevien name, logo, and platform are the property of Fabian Sysel. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or content beyond what is needed to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mevien is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including injuries sustained during a session, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, fraud, or abusive behavior toward trainers or members. You may close your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your place of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email before they take effect.
